Elizabeth has been at the heart of Fingleton Company Auctioneers since its foundation over 40 years ago. Working side by side with her late husband, Jim Fingleton, she helped build the business from the ground up. Their shared vision, dedication, and strong partnership laid the foundation for what has become a trusted and respected estate agency in the local community.

Together, Elizabeth and Jim created a business rooted in integrity, personal service, and deep local knowledge — values that Elizabeth continues to uphold today. As Principal of the firm, she oversees all aspects of the company’s operations, guiding its day-to-day running and strategic direction with the same commitment and care that she and Jim shared from the beginning.

Elizabeth is a licensed auctioneer with over four decades of experience in the property sector. She also holds a degree in Interior Design and brings more than 40 years of design experience to her role. This unique combination allows her to not only assist clients with buying and selling homes, but also offer expert advice on how to improve or transform a space — helping buyers see the full potential in a property and supporting sellers in presenting their homes at their best.
